This video was made to show our love and support for the people of Japan. The tragic events of March 11th, 2011, made us all truly understand the value of friends and family. The idea of making the video was conceived in the immediate aftermath of the disaster, when, in the uncertainty, much of the media was suggesting that non-Japanese would leave the country.

While the north east of the country was severely hit, and continues to rebuild, Tokyo was relatively unaffected. We came to know each other through our passion for martial arts, meeting and training in a Tokyo park. We are still meeting and training. Japan is our home and the earthquake only strengthens our will to live here.

2011年3月11日の悲劇的な出来事で私たちは改めて友達と家族の大切さを学んだ。

マスコミは外国人が日本から避難する、そして再び戻ってこないという可能性をほのめかす地震の余波のなか、映像を作るのを思いついた。

ひどい被害を受けた東北は今再建しつつあるが、東京の被害は比較的に些細だった。

私たちは格闘技への情熱で知り合い、東京のある公園で集まり、練習をする。

今でも私たちは集まり、練習をし続けている。

私たちは日本を故郷のように思っている。

震災はここに住み続ける意思を固めただけ。
